Promoting an age-friendly community to tackle a growing older population

Dedicated to building and promoting an age-friendly community, Chinachem Group took part in the recent Golden Age Expo & Summit 2021. Under this year’s theme of “Reimaging Smart Ageing City”, Chinachem Group shared views on building our society under the new normal. In a session titled “Healthy and Quality Living Environment for Smart Ageing”, Edmond Lo, the Group’s Deputy Project Director, examined with multi-disciplinary specialists how a functional, safe and healthy living environment can achieve an enjoyable lifestyle at an old age. During the summit, the Group was further recognised for its achievements in integrating age-friendly designs with Mount Anderson taking home the Smart Ageing Award. To realise intergenerational living, the residential development in Kwun Tong features age-friendly apartments with barrier-free access, 24-hour concierge service and IoT sensors.
