As part of the HiP project, the UEDL team transformed four floors of a vacant building in Jordan owned by Chinachem Group, to provide quality spaces for temporary housing and community facilities. Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong has partnered with multiple local NGOs, including Impact HK, Praxis, Justice Centre and PathFinders, to use the pop-up community space to serve thousands of local residents each month through meal distribution, legal consulting, and home improvement training. The temporary shelter provides urgently needed accommodation for men and women experiencing homelessness.
